Eight weeks gives your body time to get used to the training. But it also gives you time to build the habits that actually make the difference — working out consistently, getting enough sleep, working on your nutrition. That’s the part most programmes skip.

If you’re a bit intimidated or scared of joining a gym, this is exactly why these classes exist. Everyone is starting at the same point. There is no judgment. None.

Initial Conversation With James Before you start, James takes the time to understand your goals, where you’re at, and what’s got in the way before. Most gyms skip this entirely. The fact that James doesn’t is the reason people actually stick with it.
Personalised Training Schedule Built around your availability. If you can only make certain sessions, the schedule works around that from day one.

Week 4 Check-In A proper mid-point review with James. How’s it going? What’s working? What needs adjusting? You won’t just be left to figure it out.

Do I need any fitness or martial arts background to join?
None at all. The programme is specifically designed to work for people starting from scratch. You’ll have a conversation with James before you start, and the training gets calibrated to where you actually are — not some assumed starting point.
What happens after 8 weeks? Will I be pressured to sign up?
No. At the end of 8 weeks you’ll be invited to join as a full member if you want to continue — but that’s entirely your call. There’s no automatic renewal, no awkward conversation, and no one chasing you. The programme ends on the date it says it ends.
What if I can’t make all 3 sessions per week?
That’s fine — life happens. The schedule is built around your availability from the start, so the sessions you can make are the ones that get locked in. Missing an occasional session doesn’t derail the programme.
What does the training actually involve?
Group strength and conditioning sessions. You’ll use a mix of bodyweight, free weights, and functional equipment. The sessions are coached throughout — James is in the room, not watching from a desk. You won’t be handed a sheet and left to it.
I haven’t trained in years. Is that going to be a problem?
It’s the most common starting point, not an exception. James has worked with people who haven’t exercised in a decade. The initial conversation before you start is specifically to understand where you’re coming from, so nothing gets assumed.
How many people are in the programme?
Places are deliberately kept limited to keep the quality of coaching high. This isn’t a class where you disappear into a crowd — James will know your name and your progress throughout the 8 weeks.
Is there a refund if it’s not for me?
Yes. If within the first 30 days it genuinely isn’t the right fit, we’ll give you a full refund — no awkward conversations, no hoops to jump through. Just get in touch with James directly.
